In 1983 Mary Anne Smith programmed the educational game Alligator Mix for the TI-99/4A Home Computer. The game was released on a solid state cartridge. This was the inspiration when my wife a few years back lamented that she wasn't able to find any basic addition and subtraction drills for her first and second grade students.
